We have an Austin Healey replica with an engine out of a 1972 Chevy Caprice., It looks as though a previous owner installed an Edlebrock Performer intake with a Quadrajet carb. It does not look as though the heads were changed., I am thinking of installing different heads to increase the HP. Should I rebuild the lower end and change the cam at the same time? The car has 25000 miles on it but engine mileage is unknown. From the numb numbers on the block it is a 4bolt main. Any sugestions would be appreciated. Thank you.
Thanks for the feedback.
