I think I need a cold saw just cant justify that much money for the little amount I would use it,to many shop too;s sitting around now not getting used..
I've had one of the fiber blade saws for quite awhile, and rarely use it. It seems they just don't cut well. Almost everything I try to chop with it will cut really well partway, and then the 2nd half seems to take forever to chew through. Whenever possible I use my bandsaw to cut metal, as it's so much easier and quicker.

1971BB427 Got the roof of the Burb pretty well on it's way today. Nice cool morning, so hit it hard before the heat! Got all the filler done, and sanded. Primed the patches, and went over with glazing putty to get the pinholes and imperfections. Another shot of primer, and had to stop due to the heat.
Need to order the paint now, and then I can strip the bad clear coat from the rest the roof, and shoot it white.

Too Many Projects The coach had put together the perfect team for the Detroit Lions.
The only thing that was missing was a good quarterback. He had
scouted all the colleges and even the Canadian and European
Leagues, but he couldn't find a ringer who could ensure a Super
Bowl win.

Then one night while watching CNN he saw a war-zone scene in
Afghanistan. In one corner of the background, he spotted a young
Afghan Muslim soldier with a truly incredible arm. He threw a
hand-grenade straight into a 15th story window 100 yards away.

KABOOM!

He threw another hand-grenade 75 yards away, right into a chimney.

KA-BLOOEY!

Then he threw another at a passing car going 90 mph.

BULLS-EYE!

"I've got to get this guy!" coach said to himself.
"He has the perfect arm!"

So, he brings him to the States and teaches him the great game
of football. And the Lions go on to win the Super Bowl.

The young Afghan is hailed as the great hero of football, and when
the coach asks him what he wants, all the young man wants is to call
his mother.

"Mom," he says into the phone, "I just won the Super Bowl!"

"I don't want to talk to you," the old Muslim woman says.
"You are not my son!"

"I don't think you understand, Mother," the young man pleads.
"I've won the greatest sporting event in the world. I'm here
among thousands of my adoring fans."

"No! Let me tell you!" his mother retorts. "At this very moment
there are gunshots all around us. The neighborhood is a pile of
rubble. Your two brothers were beaten within an inch of their
lives last week, and I have to keep your sister in the house so
she doesn't get raped!" The old lady pauses, and then tearfully
says,

MARTINSR My 5 minutes today went to the kid in the neighborhood with the 50's Lincoln I told you guys about some months ago. I don't know if you remember but I gave his mom the thumb up that it was a good deal, I should have never done this, it's over his head and it is just a funky situation. He came by today to see if I could help him with something and I walked down there to see this Lincoln sitting in the driveway with a fresh rattle can paint job! He didn't remove a single piece of chrome and in fact painted it all silver without even masking it off, just holding a piece of cardboard or something to shield the fresh blue rattle can paint job. OMG, this thing was a great original car someone would have loved to restore or something, now it looks like hell. CRAP, he should have gotten an old Honda Civic.

LOL. It would indeed be hard to get too excited about "restoring" a bobcat trailer. Strong and safe would be goal here.

Too Many Projects I got to reinforce the deck on my neighbors bobcat trailer today. The crossmembers had rusted out and the weight of the skid steer was collapsing them. I had 3 pieces of 1X3 C channel from old sign posts I pulled out around the Township a couple months ago. I cut them to fit between the frame rails and welded them in. What a filthy job rolling around under that rusted hulk...

I used the floor jack to push the deck boards up level.
