pinto info

Most guys on this site run Chevy V 8 engines, I was an engineer at Ford during the pinto years, The factory calibrations were done to pass emission rules. , a new car dealer in So cal made a lot of changes to their new pintos to get better drivability , and fuel economy and they passed emission rules.AThe factory was soon doing their settings. You might find better info on a site that specializes in small ford products, do a search for ( pinto Forum ) and will get a few to check out

2.0 Ford Pinto engine Carburater Jettings ?

Hello , My name is Omer and i'm joining your forum from Turkey.

For getting maximum performance from the Ford 2.0 Pinto engine, could you please help me to find correct jet combinations for Weber 32/36 Carburater?

My current combination :

1. port main jet 135 air jet 165
2. port main jet 137 air jet 170

What do you think about this combination? For getting better performance, how is your thoughts? Please advise me.

If you help me, i will be appreciated.

Best Regards...
