Dragonoake I've been playing around with a similar, if somewhat more radical idea:
I once read that the '71 Buick Riviera was originally supposed to be a smaller sporty car based on an A-body chassis until corporate politics turned the speed boat into a barge.
I got to playing around with the idea of what this would look like, then got to thinking about the similar lines of an early-70's Camaro ....
Plans to add 8" to the wheelbase got lost in the shuffle somewhere, but it turned out not to be needed: It looks much longer, but other than the shortened doors and the re-worked roof, it's all standard-issue Camaro under that swoopy sheetmetal

texastomeh Sounds like some Great ideas!

The "rear half" of the '63 Split-Window Coupe is my favorite design feature of any Corvette. I have just never liked the "front half" of that era.

Would REALLY like to see the front end of some of the other years merged with that split-window rear end.

Just imagine how a late '70's / '63 combo would look!!!

evil dead I found this one online a while back, not quite what you are looking for but it doesn't look shopped either

AutoGear Why not use a 62 and modify the roofline? It is the transitional year and has the revised rear fascia that led to the 63. Paint it 2 tone, revise the top for the split and go. I think you would be farther ahead to make a 62 into what you want. The 63 rear wheel opening looks funky when you look down the side of the car and run into the 62 front wheel opening. I also think the 63 is wider, again the 62 solves this.

Quite frankly, I was a bit surprised at how it looked also. An actual design would need to "adjust" the later model. I think (without researching) the 63 would need to in fact be slightly reduced in the fenders to fit. Not sure, just eyeballin'.

Color choices are perfect!!!

I REALLY appreciate you doing these!!! I always thought that this combo would look good, but NEVER envisioned that it would look as good as you've achieved!!

PhotoShop '60/'63 Corvette Coupe????

Since my PhotoShop skills are non-existant, I wonder if I could talk someone in to doing one for me?

I would like to put the roof (including the split rear window), rear fenders, rear hatch area, and rear end of a '63 Corvette on a '60 Corvette.

Desired colors would be dark body with light side coves>??

ANY help appreciated.
