check the grounds
You should always check the grounds if you have a wiring problem, as it is quite often the culprit. Not always, but more often than not. If that is not the problem, use a test light to isolate the problem.

|T-bucket23||I would grab a test light and check for power and ground at all the light sockets with the bulbs disconnected. This should shed some light. As others have mentioned grounds are a very common issue and most likely your problem. By disconnects all the lamps you should be able to isolate the issue|

headlight wiring issue
If the old Fords were wired anything like Chevys check the headlight sockets. The sockets had a ground wire grounded to the radiator support.

This might sound (or be) crazy, but check your grounds.
Cars will do crazy stuff when the grounds get bad.

Get some of those braided ground straps and use them everywhere there is something electrical with any kind of insulating rubber or moveable hinges.

headlight wiring issue?
When i turn on my headlights both low beams come on and 1 hi-beam.if i hit the dimmer switch 1 hi beam goes out and the other one comes on????Always 3 lights on.This is a 4 hl configuration on a 62 ford galaxie.Outer bulbs are lb and inner bulbs are hbs.Thanks for any help.
