MARTINSR Any drag strip shots can get a little tear out of me. I grew up within hearing distance of the Fremont Drag strip. Now of course we have a strip mall there, makes me sick. I would uncap my headers and put the slicks on and drive it to the track! But that was all about grudge racing and I never had a real drag car, sure wish I had of. I guess I never will be able to take that run in a front engine dragster like I always dreamed of.

It sure does Brian. That's why I'm drag racing again. I ran a 1970 Camaro in Super Pro for 8 years when I lived in Nevada and I really missed it.

Hello from Idaho

Hey all,

I'm John and I reside in Idaho, just turned 59. Been hot roddin' and racin' since I was in high school. Right now I have a 1972 Nova and a 1991 Corvette ZR-1. I also have two Harleys, a 2000 Roadglide and a 2002 Superglide.

I have been into drag racing again for the past 2 years with the Nova. Started out at 13.2, then 13.7. Weak and broken valve springs on SR Torquer heads. Swapped them out for some Sportsman II heads and have been rewarded so far with a best of 12.52. Better air coming so hoping for a 12.4 before everything shuts down here for the year.

Here's a few pics of the toys.
