wretched ratchet Yes and YES - - - I also might add that the "Boogie Shuffle" rhythm is my favorite when there's a Blues Harp around. Good Stuff - thanks.

I don't win many contests but back around 2001 I won a song lyrics trivia dealie and this was my prize. It is also one of my favorite CDs.

Or like Paul Butterfield? This one kills two birds with one stone as it was recorded at Woodstock, so blues and Woodstock anniversary!

wretched ratchet Good Players, one and all, but my Heroes are Junior Wells, James Cotton, Charlie Musslewhite and several others. Slow blues is the easiest stuff but still good stuff. The real players are the ones that can blow anything in any key on a Chromatic, which I CAN NOT DO ! So I'm cursed with a lifetime of 10 hole Diatonics.

WR, Now that's what I call an understatement!!!

I take lessons from Adam on the Innernut. Hoping in a few years I can be about 1/10th as good as him. Here's a link to his site:

Now here's another interesting player, Jason Ricci.

wretched ratchet A pretty decent player - - - - one thing for sure, you can't get that hollow, down and dirty sound without a "Green Bullet" and it appears (can't tell for sure) that he's blowing thru a little Alamo box. Not a fan of his kick pedal but maybe some duct tape would help???? I've worn a many a reed out on a sack fulla those 10 holers and that brings back good memories.

evolvo Has it really been 45 years? Why do I still think like a 19 YO but feel like a 95YO?

Here's a little confused help from my friends,
