We did lose the well itself 8 or so years ago too and of course it was a Saturday night in DECEMBER !! Called an emergency repair number and a guy came out Sunday and affirmed, yep, no water.... said he couldn't do anything until Monday because he needed a helper to pull the pump. I said "just tell me what to do and lets get this done". I helped the guy pull 175 feet of pipe, the wires and pump motor out of the ground in 10 temp so we could get water back.
Them pumps do get heavy!

SVTFreak Today, after church, I threw a quick coat of wax on the cobra, a touch up before my 33 basket case arrives this week, I hope. After that, I came inside and spent some time with the wife. Isn't that working on something, our relationship? Lol. It's a recycled photo, and I'm not to proud to admit that I am showing off the wife and the cobra since I'm new around here. Haha. Anyway, just imagine that I am much uglier than anything in this photo.

Her brothers are the executors and none of the siblings wants the house, so that will get sold soon too. It was my wife's' home her entire life until she moved away to come find me.. So, that is hard for her to face too, losing her childhood home.

I'm new here but the pain of a loss like that is felt tenderly among friend and new comers. I will pray for you and your family, and your wife's impending loss of a memory. Many of us can sympathize with that.
