This is where I'm at on it right now.. Working on getting the cab in primer now... Sad thing is...I might have it sold.... The funds will help me do the c-cab faster... This is a very hard truck to part with.. Cool as H***.. if you know what I mean..;)

Thanks Mr.Ted..I know what you mean about that.. Had to do it more then once.. Most tell me I shouldn't have done the truck over the c-cab,, But there was two different plan's and both builds.. The truck was going to be my shop truck and a truck to cruise around with my son.. The c-cab was going to be a nice old show rod.. But I guess I can't have them both.. So the c-cab might just win this battle..hehehe:D

Hi Randy, I was wondering if you guys are blessed with a too loo law there??? Calif, says that nothing can hang below the rims... I think you have yours set to ride at the height you want, with Air, yes? That is for sure a different and good looking pickup, should bring a ton of looks :)

Not to sure if we have a law on that or not,, Not worried about that... I have the truck set up the same way I have my son's.. The truck aired down will be about a 1'' off the ground.. Still able to drive if needed to. The frame aired down is about the same.. So on a good hwy,, We can run aired down if careful.... But I don't see us doing that around here.. I have ways to lift it more if I wanted to.. But I don't feel the need to..We want the lowwer look for the show's,, Makes a car look so different.. Both in the grass look's like they are laying frame, But not..It also give's the appearance that the trucks are way smaller then they was when new..

Randy, I am not telling you to do anything different. We are talking the law, and my thoughts were tossed in to the discussion that's all. Your bat wings hitting the ground isn't that big of a deal, but there are other things one wouldn't want to hit the ground, like the oil pan. I am just tossing out there my thoughts that's all.

Well.. I'm just saying too.. The law may be one thing... But the bat wing is still below the rim, Meaning if you was to catch a flat,, The bottom of the bat wing and radius rods would make contact with the road.. So now I guess that would make the front end illegal as well.. I know everyone was talking about the law.. But it was brought up because of how low I built this truck... (WITH AIR BAGES)

And I was just stating that even if I had the frame 12'' off the ground,, Something would still be below the rim...

For the ones that asked me to come back in post.. This is why I left in the first place..

First I was told my 41 willys frame would fall apart,,(whice it's doing just fine by the way)...

Then someone didn't like the way I welcomed new guy's here,,,,Man what's next ???

I don't mine someone talking about the build,, But come on.. Do a little checking first..Before you start saying it's to low..

For the ones that want to know.. My oil pan is 1'' higher then the bottom of my frame, I would slide down the road on my frame any day before I would want to slide down the road on the parts that hold the front end on..A little bit of planing did go into this build..;)

Thanks.. I'm not sure what it is about my cats in pictures.. The one I had before him( his brother) was just like him.. I go to take a picture and he comes running and always get's right in the shot.. His brother died.. And now he became a close friend of mine now.. They can sure be funny sometimes.. Stay around me all day.. His brother would always run in jump on my car trailer when I would hook it up,, So one day I took him for a ride down my street.. Looked just like a dog behind me.. Riding like he really enjoyed it.. It was so funny to see him run everytime I would hook it up... He would lay in the grass looking at me.. And as soon as the trailer came down on the ball..Here he comes..LOL:D:thumbup:

So I put it out their to see if I get some bite's,, The money will be put to the c-cab,, Plus I need room in my shop,, BUT !!!! If no one bite's at it... It will get finished,,:mwink: My son was even thinking about selling his...:spank::boxing::spank::boxing: I will do my best to stop that Idea..:mwink:
