Have you tried ALLDATA.
ALLDATAdiy.com Leading Source of Factory Automotive Repair Information
Many mechanics use this for there shop's that how the shop has the manual for anything they just grab it as the car comes in.
But im am not sure about the single customer pricing it may be too high. But it is the best source going.
Not saying i havent paid 190 for a shop manual or downloaded one for free off a torrent.

Each time I buy another vehicle or begin work on another vehicle, I buy the original or a reprint of the original factory service manual. The factory manuals are far, far superior to anything that's printed in the aftermarket.....

I have always used different color eletrical tape to match the connectors back up. no help now but maybe next time you can use some tape on each side of the connectors and then just match up the color to slap is back together.
Vacum line routing might be a bigger issue with the 83 305. Not sure about the best place to get the manual but I alwasy try to score the OEM shop manual for any car i own. Its always a major help and has all the proceedures and scematics no matter what might come up. For some reason i seem to break stuff no one else has ever seen break before. LOL
I do run across the manuals in pdf on the net but nto sure if these are legit or not.

Chevy small block 305 question
I am new to this board so lemme say hello to all you motor heads out there.
So I broke down my 305 to rebuild the top end but before doing so I took detailed pictures of every bracket, wire, and hose line placement for referrance but, my camera was stolen. I have been looking for a schematic for weeks but cannot find squat, can someone point me toward a site that might be of help? I really appreciate your help.
