I've been told in other forums that this concept is insane...but.....Thats what experiments are for. All theories are welcome! I want to specifically use the M90 because of they're readily available from junkyards in various mid 90's Fords and Buicks.
This concept was spawned by the website www.Toohighpsi.com I know I'm going to need some fabrication, some imaginative intake, intercooling and belt driving system. But I think together we can come up with something great. I'm also aware that Fuel injection is the best way to distribute fuel for this application, but for the sake a the challenge, I want to use a 850 CFM blow thru carb, similar to the one centrifugal blowers use.

High nickel Mexican Block
Forged crank
H beam forged rods
Forged pistons
Crane Cam Hydraulic with matching valve train (
Gt40p ported heads
1.6 rollers rocker
Edelbrock Performer intake
HEI distributor (GM Style)
Long tube Headers
3 inch pipes w/Dual Flowmaster

LETS GO!!!!

okay I went to M&K Steel Mill and got a hold of some 10 gauge steel plates I'm going to finalize the templates and trace them onto to the steel using an awl.

Since the snout has a sump the allows the blade gears to sit in the oil and kinda offset, I'm going to have to make the bracket work somehow. Maybe a cut it out or on the front side of the snout.

back to business

My original plans proved to sit up too high for any dream of ever getting the hood back on.

I got a hold of some ideas for the serpentine belt set-up from an old Fox Body mustang I just picked up recently. I took all the accessories including the power steering pump, the alternator, Idler pulley, the water pump pulley and crank pulley to match the S/C (6 groove set up).

I plan on mounting it like Mike but his plates are designed for the Thunderbird 3.8 supercharger. I'll be mounting them to the heads like he did.

reviving the ol thread

okay guys I'm resurrecting this thread because I finally found all the parts I need...from the junkyard haha So It's the two turbocoupe intercoolers and some piping from the 3.8 supercharged Thunderbird and the 2 m90's. I'm going to end up buying some more piping from my local metal supplier and off to the races I go!

Here's the general design of how I want it oriented

cant wait to see how you work this. my neighbor has a Spectrum 375 that we are trying to get together on the price right now...I want it like no tomorrow but my pockets say I gotta wait or sell something else I probably need...

NewInteriors(Randy) mentioned in a thread I started on this machine, that he has one and loves it. If you have ever seen his work, you'll know it must be pretty decent. Ask him about the quality.
