That was the point that I was trying to elude to about the difference in the ECM s . They look the same , but not all pins or terminals at the plug ins are used, depending on the type of FI system that it was designed to run.
The circuitry inside the ECM ( hardware) is different, and each one has a different wiring harness to hook to necessary devices under the hood.
As long as the underhood wire harness is intact, plug it in and go.
The #62 ECM has nothing inside that hooks to the terminals where the MAF sensor wires go in the ECM connector , because it doesnt use one. The ECM doesnt have the hardware inside to run it.

ecm change=harness change?
one more question guys.when changing my ecm from the16198262 to the 16198259 will i have to change the harness also?
