496CHEVY3100 I posted this a couple months ago,,the gas burnout was very popular in the 70s and 60s mostly for exhibition shows though,,I remember the first time I saw one,it was a Bantahm,,when he did his burn out he drove the safety crew wild,,every one was running around with extinguishers.

They were finally ban,,little chunks of rubber were coming off and hitting the flagman,( remember those,) and when it hits it Sticks

Yes, it is a Hughes converter but about a 24-2600 rpm version as I have a light car and a moderate performance engine. Best part - it doesn't rattle and clunk like the POS TCI converter and flimsy flex I had been using. Flex plate is now a fairly hefty Performance Automotive
