sunsetdart You did a good job on the repair so that's a start. Is the paint on the car relatively new or has it been on for awhile? You can match if you have the paint or the code for the paint to get some mixed. You must be really careful when shooting metallics air pressure and technique make a big difference in how the finish turns out.
As far as painting in colder temps.........first rule is the metal must be warm. The body temp should roughly be the same as the air temps you are sparying in. If the body is cold the paint will sag down the side.

Hi all this my first post

I got into a fender bender over the summer and decided to try and learn how to fix it. This is my first time ever doing body work so please let me know if anything stands out or if you would have done anything ddifferently. The car has a single stage metallic paint. I dont want to try and blend the panels so much cause i hear its better to follow a body line to help hide the repair. My biggest concerns so far is its been inside and in primer for to long and want to get it done, second I dont know were to go from my current progress, and third its getting into 30 degree weather. Here are the pictures to help. Thanks for your time
