andrewakessler @big gear head: The G Body would make sense considering the previous owner used a G-Body (Monte Carlo) front clip on the truck.

Looks like a 7.5" GM. More info here on ID'ing it, and here to check the gear ratio- people buying it will want to know the ratio and whether it's a posi or not.

Identify Rear Axle?

I'm in the process of trying to sell my old rear axle, but I have no clue what it originally came off of.

The numbers stamped on the axle are 22606822b (pic attached)

It's possible it originally came off of a Monte Carlo, but I have no sure way of knowing.

Anyone have an idea?
