With a Holley 750 cfm 4 bbl, on a Performer RPM intake, with 1-3/4 tube full length headers, a really good CD ignition this could pull about 400 horses on an engine dyno. But this power level takes really good parts matching and tuning, even slight deviations will drop the crankshaft power 30-40 horses very easily.

|vinniekq2||I would think 360 h p and similar torque on the conservative side. 91 octane will work ok I think.you did not mention carb/headers|

SBC 355 Build
I’m looking at building a 355 for my 1981 Camaro Z28, Here is what i have picked out, some of the parts i already have;

I did a Compression Calculator and my Compression is coming out at just under 10:5:1 with a 0 deck, do you guy’s think with this cam & compression I’m able to run her on 91 Octane?
And any inputs on what kind of HP / TQ this motor can be making?
