Then the regular Performer is fine. The Performer RPM costs a little torque off the bottom RPMs not much but measurable and repeatable so it's real. The RPM pulls from the mid range RPMs out through redline around 6000 very nicely and way more than the regular Performer but since your cam doesn't rev there it isn't something you can make use of. So take the more robust lower through mid-range power.

The Edelbrock 2116 is just a Performer Intake used on 1996 and up Vortec engines. It works fine as a stock replacement.

Mr. P-Body ALL "Professional Products" intakes are Chinese knock-offs of one ar another. The funniest one is the Pontiac "Crosswind"... ALL Pontiacs are "air gap", by original design. You will note, Edelbrock does not offer an "Air Gap" intake for the Pontiac. No need...

With significant port work, the PP intake can flow as well as the Edelbrock. Buy the good one.

Chinese made clone of the Edlebrock Vortec Performer for almost as much money. Quality has been all over the map.
