Just curious how I cracked my T-350 case?
Hey guys, this really isn't a big deal, I'm just kind of curious how something like this happens. I have a 350 with th350 and NP 203 in an 84 jeep cj7 on 35's. Like always I broke the back end loose. Started fish tailing side to side then BANG.... I broke the bolts holding the u joint in place on my rear end, threw half of my drive shaft into the pavement and cracked my trans case about an inch or two infront of the governorer cover from the pan all the way across the top. Is it the sheer jolt of releasing a load that quick? Did excessive pressure blow it or do you think something came apart and hit the side? I'm in the process of building a 700r4 to replace it so it didn't really bother me that much. Like I said, no big deal just curious on yalls thoughts. Thanks
