To All Those Who Served and Are Serving !
I never had the opportunity to Serve my Country but I want to Thank all the Veterans that have and tell them that I don't take my Freedom lightly. I know that I have it because of Them.
Here's a very appropriate song for Memorial Day by Joe Bonsall of "The Oak Ridge Boys". Stay with it till the end and I think you'll be glad you did.

Great choice, Brian, when our Local Hometown Band was on the Road for a while we did "all" of Neil's stuff because the lead singer and owner of the sound equipment and trailer was a huge fan. It was only a 4 piece group but everyone sang great harmony and every time we did the following song, I would get chill bumps on the building harmonies. Silly me, eh?

My God Linda has recorded some amazing stuff, what a voice! I even bought the Spanish ones, on vinyl, I love them.
I have been listening to Neil Diamond lately, bought a double album live LP cd after seeing him a few weeks ago in concert. This song has stuck in my head and I am learning it on my guitar.
I have always liked Neil Diamond, his hits on the radio, always dug them. But it hit me during the concert, I had never owned a single piece of his music! Not a 45, not an 8 track, nothing!
This show was without a doubt one of if not the most entertaining shows I have ever seen, and I have seen a lot of concerts. From the Ramones to Frank Sinatra, from the Judds to Metallica, and this was a very special show, the guy is a master entertainer that is for sure.
I was given the tickets out of the blue months back by someone I never even see, my ex-sister-in-law out of the blue on face book she contacted me and asked if I wanted these tickets she had just won on the radio that she couldn't use. She sent them to me and I was able to go. What an amazing evening, the whole thing from the dinner at a Mexican restaurant behind the venue that we had no idea existed until we stumbled on it, to an amazing concert, to leaving walking out side at 10 PM to a beautiful clear sky full of stars, it was just perfect.

"Happy 60th Birthday Disneyland"
Sorry, Jiminy, I like Linda's version better.
(What memories some/most? of us may have of Disney in our lives and our Children and Grandchildren's lives ! Thanks Walt)

My Baton Rouge Buddy turned me onto this performance yesterday and after watching it I got to thinking that even if BB wasn't the fastest fret man in the Bizz, he always created the perfect "Tone" from that Gibson.

|dinger||I saw him about 8 years ago, a small venue. What a delightful man, and a great show! One of my favorite jokes to spin involves B.B., a "lady" and a tattoo. I will post this in the joke section. RIP, B.B.|

There are a few people that I have held with respect through the years. Everyone else put their pants on the same as me. BB King has always held my respect. We are privileged to have him as long as we did.
God Bless and Keep Him. Blue's Boy King

|wretched ratchet||I too got to see him at the "B B King Blues Fest" back in 2001 and what a lineup he had. The folks in the Blues Bizz loved him too.|

I consider myself fortunate that I got to hear him live.
