|donnaruth222||What about Canada? One of my sockets is stamped Can, dated 1961. I have another socket without a country stamp on it at all. It looks older (not '61), but it doesn't have a date code on it.|

NOW...some of the promotional doo dads and give away stuff IS made in china, like hats, coffee mugs, Diagnostic 8 Balls etc.
Just look for the USA on them and you be fine.

in AMERICA we've become people that only "I" can earn a fair wage, everyone else should work for peanuts..
they speak this every day as they buy the imported item to save a few bucks..
