Use a micrometer or calipers to measure the major diameter and minor diameter of the lobes. Subtract the smaller number from the larger number and that is roughly the lobe lift. Multiply that by the rocker arm ratio and you have the advertised lift for the cam. To find duration, intake centerline, exhaust centerline, lobe separation angle, overlap, etc., you will need to set the cam up in the block with the #1 piston, rod and crankshaft, along with a timing chain and sprockets to find piston TDC and then work your way into the other numbers from there.

I have new,dont know how new ,never installed cam part #965332 G for a 351C ford 1972 4V engine no other info available as to Mfr. specs whatever. can anybody help? email@example.com Thanks.
