sedanbob The Carolina Customs people make hinge sets for one piece hoods, with or without sides. Looking at their website should give you some ideas if you wan to build your own, or buy one of theirs. I used their hinges for my '33 Ford sedan. I was a universal kit - I had to cut it to length and modify the ends at both the cowl and radiator shell, but they have instructions on how to measue and cut. I run sides on mine, and the hinge rails show if I leave the sides off - there is another design if you don't intend to run sides, where the rail sits up under the hood.

One peice 32 hood

I purchased a haggan 32 ford one piece hood for my 30 model a. of coarse I had to add about three inches length to it to match up with my radiator shell. Now what is the cleanest and best way to mount this thing. I tried running a couple lengths of 1" angle from the shell to the fire wall. Lost my mind. any ideas or pics?
