Hi all, I currently have a HF 43430, that I used for my first primer gun. Cut the PCL poly with acetone to spray it . I also have the old purple touchup with the 1.0, wish they still had those. The new chrome one feels cheap. I later bought the startingline set and have been using the 1.8 tip for epoxy and surfacers. I recently started doing more paint work and would like to add a few more guns. Soon a better gun for finish also
I would like to pick up another cheap gun for polly
would you rec the TCP pro with 2.0 or 2.5. or the Vader on northern tool with a 2.3 ?
Or can I still get a 2.2 or something for the 43430

Thanks Anthony

Yes you want the 2.3 I bought a cheapie, don't know the name off Ebay for about $25. I only used it for poly primer then I found it works great with house paint and polyurethane wood "varnish"! Just did a counter top yesterday with it shooting Polyurethane Varithane and it looks like a friggin car hood! But yes it works SOOOO much better with Polyester primer than thinning your primer for the wrong gun.

I have a 2.5 mm cannon I got from TCP Global for around $40. It throws my unreduced Slick Sand on effortlessly, and the quality of the gun was actually pretty impressive too. I was expecting it to feel a lot cheaper than it did.[/QUOTE
I was looking at their 2.0 or the 2.5. but also the vader 2.3

are the TCP guns real hvlp guns or do they take alot of pressure and make alot of overspray like the HF gun
