|V8&4spd||Some of the gauge openings are standard size GM. You can use gauges from a 2nd gen F body if you want. You can also use different speedo readings all the way up to 160 mph.|

|V8&4spd||I put a 65 Pontiac dash in a 67 El Camino. There was more cab room after I swapped dashes. Just use a cut off wheel and cut near the windhsield.|

|DanTwoLakes||Your '65 El Camino is identical to the '65 Chevelle forward of the "B" pillars, so check with the Chevelle web sites.|

1965 el Camino dash problems!!!
Ok so I finally decided to start the whole dash/wiring replacement on my elky. One big problem...the entire passenger side was rusted to ****!!! I'm not talking about the dash pad, I mean the actual dash panel that's made of metal and welded to the body! Worst part is that no one makes these anymore. I already pulled the dash out so it's basically firewall and some wires among other things. Question is, does anyone know where I can get this part? Dvap wants about 500 and won't even send pics first. Am I stuck getting something custom and not so great or am I stuck searching for years to come?
