I am building a 31 coupe that somebody cut 3" off of the bottom back in the 1960's instead of repairing the rust.I bought new lower patch panels to repair the body. The door bottom body line is thinner than the cowl and rear section right behind the door.Could you or anybody tell me if this is correct or bad parts? Any help would be greatly appreciated.I will look at your pics to see if I can tell.

Boxc@r I'm in...28 Tudor. Lot's to do. In the chassis now. 32 rails pinched, 3 in chop, LT1 and so forth. Father and son project. I'd guess we're two years out from completing....but it's all about money and time right so you never know.

A roadster

I've bought my brother's 29 Project, full fendered, missing trunk lid. His brother-in -law had it for a while. I didn't like the way the first builder messed up the frame, I just found a good frame and will start over, box and crosmember, then have to decide what parts to replace, which ones to use. 65 mustang 4 piston discs on the front or 46 lincoln with buick drums. which engine , now has a tired SBF. but one of the SBC might be better. My wife asked if it will be ready for the 4 th of July parade but it's 10 * F right now and the wood stove in the shop is not enough. the roadster pict is a 29 Nash I worked on a few years ago, still in a corner of the shop.

speedydeedy Nice. Mine is a 31 also and it sat inside since 1984 but had been hacked up back in the 60's so I have a lot to repair. Also replacing all the wood with box tubing for strength.Good luck.I built a 383 stroker full roller with about 440 HP.
