gearheadslife count the teeth it be 153 or 168
you'll need the matching starter for the 305 plate..
your old 350 might have a stagard starter mounting
the other is straight across bolt pattern..
most likely your 305 has starter mounting holes straight across in a line..
if your 350 starter isn't you'll need to get one..
or, change the starter noses

carnutbill The flex plate on the 350 engine is about 14" diameter & the flex plate on the 305 engine is about 13" diameter. Is the Camaro flex plate 14" diameter?

Turbo 350 to a 1992 305 engine

I have a 1975 350 engine & Turbo 350 in my hot rod, when I when to install a 1992 305 engine the flex plate from the 350 engine would not fit the 305 engine.
Is there any way to install a Turbo 350 trans. to a 1992 305 engine?

thanks bill
