Nova headers

I have a 1974 chevy nova custom with a 350.. I wanted to put headers on it but every pair of headers I tried didnt fit... they keep hittin on the steering box thing... so if you have any suggestions, let me know... later

Yeah, thats what I tried but there was no way I could get those things in there, but thanks for the help, I appreciate it... so I got different headers, and I made the dimple and I thaught they were gonna fit but then they hit down on the frame... so Im not shure if the will work either.. so if anyone else has any suggestions, please let me know, thanks...

Try having them built at an exhaust builder, that way they have to fit.

yeah, I had the motor jacked up, and I had dynomax headers... but they just came right down on the steering gear box, I tried denting them but it still didnt work, then I tried differnt headers but the hit on the chasis... what is the product numbers you got for your headers? if you know...

Dynomax #85121(still got the box keep my old headers in it) Their for 78-87 monte carlo,regal,cutlass,Grandprix etc...Don't think they'll fit nova chassis.

Next time you buy check the footnotes on the header site. Some headers for the same chassis won't fit certain things like power steering,stick tranny etc...
