|big gear head||Is it the right width for your truck? Do you want 4.88 gears? If it has a spool then it't not going to be worth a crap on the street. Ladder bars are noisy and stiff on the street. If it's what you want then the price isn't too bad. What are you going to do with the truck?|

Thats kinda what I was thinking. I've got an opportunity to buy a narrowed 12 bolt with 33 spline Strange axles ...ladder bars...billet yoke... aluminum cover...4.88 Richmond gears... all new for 1250.00. Good deal?

Its in a 91 GMC s-15 Stock rear end with posi carrier out of a 94 camaro z-28. 400 trans with 3800 stahl, 383 stroker with 546 hp

Durability of a 10 bolt posi?
I am wondering if anyone can tell me the limitations a 10 GM posi with 4.10 gears has. I've just completed a 546 HP 486 lbs of torque 383 stroker and question if the rear end I have is going to be able to handle it. Any thoughts?
