the rods came with eagle spec esp-13010030 i think stock length 5.7 ? forged 5140 i beam
i dont rember the part number of the gasket .thickness was on my machine shop invoice
as far as the studs yes on the washers that came with them and arp sealant (white tube ) under pressure they leak .today I talked with arp and they tell me remove all the water from the system remove one stud at a time blow out with compressed air squirt brake parts cleaner in the hole blow out again clean the threads and load the threads up with a lot of arp or permatex ptf and retork .
do only one at a time .What a pain in the *** !!!!!either the product works or not i say NO .I will b changing to permatex

I have a couple of questions for you. What length connecting rods did you use? The Cometic head gaskets you used is C5249-030 the part number? If not post the part numbers you used. When installing the head gaskets did you use any type of sealer on them. Also did you install washers under the nuts on the head studs?

2800 stall in th400 unsure what rear end to use .I was thinking gm 12 bolt 410

Static CR is around 10.3, but my concern is if the block hasn't been decked, the quench distance is ~0.055".
Fill in the blanks and a guess could be made.

Using the right springs and heads that cam will make power to about 6,500, and you will need some stall if it's an automatic.

They are T bucket cruiser-poser carbs.
Get real 650+cfm DP carbs for it.
Edelbrock 750's work well too.
They make engine test dynos to determine HP.
Get some real carbs and dyno it.
The HYD cam will run out of steam and limit power and rpm.
This is a poser girlie-man motor.
