We started a trivia thread over at another forum and it has been a lot of fun.
Here are the ground rules. It starts with one question. The first reply with the right answer gets the floor for a new question. It continues like that unless, A) the person who has the floor doesn't ask a new question, or B) no one gets the correct answer. In that case, the person with the floor asks a new question. No more than one question on the floor at a time, and discussion/clarification is welcome until the floor is taken over by a new question.
First question: In the 1952 Indy 500, what type of fuel was burned in the record-setting pole-position #28 car? Hint: it won pole position by a full 4 mph over the second-place Ferrari
There is a easily found internet source that explains what this beautiful automobile is and why. The automobile is owned by a very well known jeweler.

OK Joe I'll quit picking on you. Here is the reason why.
Production Land Cruisers began to appear in dealer showrooms in the fall of 1933 as 1934 models. The Land Cruiser was designated as a body style, and classified in the President model range (C Series) for the year. It retailed for $1,510.
The body style was shared between the President and Commander series for 1936.
This car is owned by Nicola Bulgari of Bulgari Jewelry. One of three left . The other two are street rods.
I probably went through the entire LeMay Museum website trying to answer your question. Looks like a cool collection. Next time I'm through Tacoma, I'm going to stop and check it out.
Here's my question:
Most Ford parts are branded with a Ford logo. What year did Ford switch from this...
I am going to take a shot in the dark, I am trying to remember when did that newer logo or even the newer one FORD oval show up, I am thinking model A but I can't even place it there. So I am thinking just a shot, 1928.
Ford introduced the Oval in 1928 in white oval and mid season changed to Blue oval Exact date not known, updated in 1928 again in 1961 and last update un 2003 .dont know if this what you are looking for.
Well I can certainly see by adding this little gem, people passing by would spot it and exclaim, "Holy Crap! It's breathtaking!"
I'm going to have to get me one for my ride.
LOLOLOL, no really, LOLOL, thanks for the morning laugh.
