Coil Overs or 2"drop springs with coil Over Shocks only.

I have a 1955 BelAir 2 door sedan, 350 with a 4 speed. I read somewhere that you could use stock 2" drop springs with a coilover type shock and it would work great, I have also been told that if you buy a coilover shock and spring dont get the small block ones get the ones for a big block because they will hold car up better.

I have a 350 with 4 speed, just installed 500 CPP box, Tilt, Ididit, all new front end rebuild kit with 2 inch drop springs, my headers are Hooker Competition full length and they hang a little low, am not useing any type of drop spindals. I need to install some type of shock and also would like to add a stablizer bar front and back useing stock Control Arms with 2 inch offset contol Arm Cross Shafts. Any information will be appreciated.

Leroy
