455olds I think the first major change happened in '86 or '87. Any block from the early '70s till '85 should have all the same accessory mounting holes you should need.

350 chevy engine

the 350 in my hot rod is blowing oil,the dipstisk is on the right side or passenger side,when do you think that the engine was made?I want to replace the block ,is there any difference in the block between 1980 and 1985,I will have to reuse all the componates from the present engine,which also has vinage air,so I need to make the right choice
