tech69 I got the bottom piece almost ready to weld in. Still have to put some bolts thru the bottom piece to bolt down to the frame and I'd like to run the flat thru my planishing hammer to get it a little nicer this is about as much sink you get in the rear of the tank before needing to do 2-3 bottom pieces. Didn't want to go there.

Just waiting

My buddy with the '67 Camaro has been getting a little done on it again. He works on it when he gets a slow day in his body shop. Those are few and far between. Planning to drop in the 454 and trans this winter after all the body and paint is done. New fenders, doors, quarter panels and hood have been installed and now he's cutting in the paint on the jams etc. After the paint is on is where I come in. Applying means of motivation. It's gonna look awesome. Oh no. We forgot about changing out the front coils. It had a 250 cid inline 6. I think the 454 is a little heavier. LOL

I need at least an hour to raise the temp in the shop from 40 to 62. If I'm gonna burn all that gas, I better keep my butt out there for a few hours..

No pics but I got AMD quarter skins for both of the '66's. They are waaaaaaay better than the ones that came with the car. I'll try to get pics tomorrow.

John long I particularly like the '54 210 David. Cool car. It is customized just enough to clean it up but maintain all of the class and style of the origional car.

I have been welding and grinding, grinding and welding and no, this is not a duplicate post.

Progress is good but still a long way to go.

MARTINSR You guys need to get a back up hard drive Seagate Backup Plus Slim 1TB External USB 3.02.0 Portable Hard Drive Black STDR1000100 - Best Buy

You just plug it into a USB port and it will save everything on your computer. Your harddrive crashes and you just install a new one and take everything off your back up and you go on like nothing happened. I finally got one for Christmas last year.
