well.. the lambo has been dead for a few weeks.. wait till you find out what failed.
the other advance weight bushing did not wear thru .. it broke in half... got between the tip of the rotor and the distributor cap.. breaking that crazy expensive rotor..
and if you don't think this is a V12 distributor .. count the pole pieces of the upper advance in the top of this image sitting on the work table.
the advance weight bushings are actually too small. and the pin on the weight is worn. the pins should be 7MM.. i have a good set of used weights sitting there today to install.. but the flats on the bushings are .322" and the slot they slide in is .343" i am going to try to find a machine shop to make some new ones of the proper size.
this is just a shape with some of the measurements of what i want to have made out of some tough steel.
and then there was this. but that was from a different project.
i thought some of you might get a kick out of it.
oh.. the rotor was 212 bucks they are usually 275. and yes.. i did chop out a new gasket for it.

That's just a wicked hot rod, Randy.
Speaking of primer, dang I did a bunch of that today! 68 Camaro front end parts, 73 Riviera quarters, 68 Mustang all but front end. 2 solid hours of swinging a 2.0 Iwata full of MP243. That seemed like quite a bit since it's been awhile. Glad to be done for a few days.

Looking good! That's one of those things....what do they call them.......oh yeah, "Hot rods."

|jaxx22||back on subject - started putting the 28 ford axle in the RPU - cut the wishbone - removed the stock spring and set it into place - thinking now I may need to wait till I get the 64 Dodge pick up home and look at that axle - it has more drop than a stock 28 ford - jaxx|
