You make a good point, Mitch. Since I live in the brush there isn't too many obstacles that get in the way. Maybe deer, but they're not tall enough.......

MARTINSR Welllllll, my day starts out a little different than expected. I am in Boise Idaho seeing my son, pregnant daughter-in-law and grand daughter. We have been seeing the sights, playing with the grand daughter (she's 2.5) when yesterday afternoon the daughter-in-law says she is having some REAL contractions! You see, she is three weeks from her due date and we came to Boise now because it's spring break and my little ones are out of school so we came to see them. We would be missing the birth of my grand daughter but that's life. Wellllllllll we talked about how we would stay and watch the two year old if they had to leave, I woke up this morning to them gone! It sounded pretty ok yesterday and last night the daughter-in-law is a got things handled kinda lady and she was taking it all in stride last night. But it looks like I will be here for the birth without planning it!

LOL, I cleaned the switch with electical cleaner and one key quit working. I suspect one of the tumblers was stuck. I have heard before there are not that many different codes for each model car.

tech69 we all have our moments at work and today was a funny one. Yesterday the old man spent 4 hours putting in one door handle and tightening up a bumper that was dropped for paint. He couldn't figure out how he got the front one in and got stuck on the second. 2009 Jetta. He asked me and I told him it was probably a cam and said you probably have to loosen or tighten the torx in the door and pull on the part that grabs the handle but he still couldn't figure it out. Today I spent 2 minutes tightening the torx, getting one hook to pull the piece, and then another one to switch locations to remove the first hook to give the handle enough room to be installed. Yesterday it was the same thing but for the Honda 2000 handles. I had to spell out the whole procedure for him...Spin the handle on, drop the latch, hold the metal plate behind the skin, put in one bolt, snap in the lock cylinder, and you can figure out the rest. Man,
I need a raise.

It's really not that big of a deal if you listen to a Clear Channel station
I go to Fort Smith three times a week and when the local radio station fades out, I flip over to a Fort Smith station that, with the exception of the locals ads and about a two minute timing gap, is identical: same song, same DJ

One of my best friends and I hooked up the trailer with fresh packed wheel bearings and have it ready to roll tomorrow. Going to pick up the '53 Hardtop in the morning in Knoxville. I can't believe my wife is so cool with me bringing this thing home. I am indeed a blessed man.

I will post some picks of the hardtop when we get her home.

Where you gonna keep the new mistress ?? Got room for one more in the basement vault ??
There is 12 x 46 screened in porch on the back of the house that is about 8 feet high. I can put it in the dry there and out of the neighbors view.......Until the leaves begin to fall anyway.
