Cherry Bomb mufflers

Hello everybody. I am trying to figure out what cherry bomb muffler to put on my 1948 Chevrolet hot rod. It has a 1968 Mercury 390 v8 (I know, a bit unusual but all i have) with the cold air still on it. I want to have as much power possible so i can't have something that increases back presure a lot, and I want it to sound good and loud, but not too loud. The setup will basically be a dual exhaust and will branch out into four (two each manifold) pipes at the muffler. So what i would like to know is what type of cherry bomb (or similar) muffler would you recommend from experience with your hot rod or even original Mercury? I was thinking the vortex but heard some bad reviews so i am again back to the start.
