Correction to a previous answer. The man did have a tie in to Cord Auto's on one specific model but it has nothing to do with the question at hand. BB

BruceKoukalaka No and no, Hint... it made it easier to do something that even today can be a pain in the ***. Formula 1 cars have a similar system.
