gmtony55 Now we talking. If the other head can be repaired that would be awesome to have a set of heads from a Z06. I am going to bring it home and see. Thanks

gonzo08383 part out the good parts. the salvagable head can fetch you some bucks on ebay or craigslist. injectors are worth a sell. crankshaft may get some money if its not scored or bent.

gmtony55 Gonzo you may of misunderstood. The car has a new $16000.00 engine that we paid for,this is just the bad engine. It does have one good head and oil pan possibly cam. I just was wondering if it was worth bring home.

I'm sure there's got to be some salvageable parts on there that are worth some amount of money. I'd keep it and use it as the base for a glass-top coffee table.

gonzo08383 usually when this happens the engine becomes a really nice boat anchor. if theres a hole in the block its screwed. if its just the head then you could get better heads for some big bucks. i'd throw a crate engine in it. better than buying a used corvette.

Z06 engine

Hey guys I work for an insurance company and we had to buy a 2007 z06 corvette engine and since it threw a rod on left side. They said the piston hit a valve and messed up that head and block. Anyway they said I can have it if I want it. Does anyone see any value in this engine. It has 59000 miles on it.
