302 Z28 Check with the city you are in before doing large scale outdoor blasting. Most have ordinances’ against it. BTW sand blasting a car is big No-No..

Dave57210 Hadn't thought of THAT. A newbie'd likely blow right on through!

I only used it for the frame - worked great for that! Took about an hour to do the whole thing on a rotisserie

Dave57210 What are you blasting? For some small parts - a blast cabinet
For a few larger parts - there are many options
If you're doing a whole car- rent a BIG diesel compressor - the ones that run jackhammers for the city - and rent a sandblaster to suit it - the ones with a 2 inch line etc, that use 500 lbs of sand per hour. In a couple of hours - you're done!

what is the best sandblasting equipment for restoring cars

I am new to car restoration done 2 bikes. I need to purchase some sandblasting equipment but have absolutely no idea of whats good in the diy sector, all help would seriously appreciated
