Yeah, I'm pretty sure it'll bolt up, but the problem is with the "E" part of the transmission (Electronic). Read through this write-up and get educated.....

can you use a 4L60E ( BOLT UP AND WORK) WITH A 283 ??, Not sure if all small blocks are Essentially the same.Wanting to run a 283 in my s10.
