For sure - but there is always that one that fit 30 seconds ago and 'moved' while you were snapping the next one on the panel in place and why I have a bunch of spares

I'll have to give them a try - the others = phew (plus a paint scratcher if not careful)

Irelands child My '31 was done with .062 ABS panel board, padded, upholstered with a soft marine vinyl then attached to the lid using those @#$%%^ spring clips. The wrinkle seen has been taken out as the photo was taken in progress:

DanTwoLakes Not unless the hood is perfectly smooth, and you'd need industrial Velcro or it would peel right off as soon as the trunk got warm. If you glued it on, how would you get it off if you needed to? Use 3MM (just under1/8" thick) PVC foamboard, brand names Komatex, CelTec, Sintra, and Palight, which is available at sign shops and sheet plastic suppliers. It will easily curve to fit the trunk deck, and heating it with an industrial heat gun will make it hold that shape. Attach it with door panel clips, and make sure you put a couple clips right at the main curve line. Use the most lightweight carpet you can find.

Trunk lid carpet 30 Ford roadster

Hi all I getting my 30 Ford roadster ready for the LH. 2013 Tour. Cleaning up the interior , I`m now at the trunk lid , where I`d like to add some carpet . I`m having trouble getting thin plywood to fit the curve, where I would attach the carpet . Should I just forget about this and just attach the carpet with either glue or velcro tape. Any suggestions. Thanks
