What type of piston do intend to use. Hyper or forged?
BBC at 10-1 compression is good for pump gas. Howards cams has some great hydraulic roller profiles
As for heads, 049 or 781's are good GM oval port castings but will need to be cut for larger valves and guide work which can add up to the cost of aftermkt aluminum heads. That flow better from the box and have less weight to carry.
Be more specific on your proposed build and several people here will get you thru with the least pain/$$$$

468 bbc build suggestions on parts
I am building a 468 bbc and would appreciate all the help I can get on making at least 550 hp. It's a 2 bolt main 1973 mark IV, high performance pass stamped on block.9.8 deck stock crank and rods.It will be going into a 69 chevelle convertible. 700r4 built for 600 hp, 2500-2700 stall with a lock up switch,12 bolt pos 3:42 gears, 3" exhaust car weighs 4,200 lbs.I want to go full hyd roller with 10.1 compression would like all the input on pistons, heads, cam and carb. I drive this car every chance I get and keeping it reliable as a daily driver is a big plus. Thanks
