That's what happens when you give them air conditioned cabs.

Custom10 Just about the strangest "car" I have ever seen, someone should restore it or at least get it road worthy if possible

boothboy Ahhhh? Kinda looks like it ought to be a amusement park ride, a vehicle that when the window was rolled down, a person would want to stick their heads out and yell "Shazammm!" or a lot of acid was consumed during the build.

I want it.

Brian, your brother's wagon was super cool! The drop spindles they used back then always scared me, but the stance was still killer! Not a canyon carver, but super neat on cruise nights!
It had a 283 two barrel with a three speed and it could pull the front tires off the ground! LOL Not in a "wheelie" but by bouncing it. At a very low speed he would punch the throttle on and off a number of times bouncing the front until the tires came off the ground! You should have seen how nice that car was, the inside was all black with yellow cob webs very well done on the metal panels and dash. It was pretty nice, I sure dug it when he drove me to school.

Insane!
Here is my brothers '59 Chevy that my dad bought him for $750. It was a trade in on a new car (my dad was a salesman.) The only change in this photo from the day he bought it was it had American's on the back too but they were narrow and he had these chromies so he put them on. LOLOL

He lowered the car sometime around 1980 and kept those dropped spindles for years.
