idrivejunk Here is a funny bunny for you Brian. It is there every day this time of year. I think it may want to race.

Aww.

Now don't let this harsh your mellow-

I'll weld up some junk on the microdatson tail end tomorrow, near the tail lights where a rough previous qtr install and some leftover crash work from it is showing. Mud man is getting a break from sliding paper by gutting the Biscayne dash and if you study hard you can see the hood and trunk lid from that in urethane primer...

It is a 55 1st design and in much better shape than it looks in picture,No rust in floors or fire wall, which is where most of these rust
If you cant get it running let me know, I have the motor and tranny for that truck ,rebuilt, painted and everything just needs a carb.

idrivejunk First thing was to get this 67 Datsun off the rotisserie and screwed to the chassis. 14 bolts. Check.

Began to do same to the SS396 job, but I got confused on body mount locations because the instructions reference a numbered diagram and state that each bushing bag is numbered for ease of proper placement. But the bags were not numbered. End of the day, the car's owner and I got it figured out. Tomorrow I'll shoot for bolting it to the chassis then hanging doors and fenders so the painter can have it back-

I slipped back over to the Biscayne and patched the gas fill tunnel flange on both sides. Heres one-

Too Many Projects I finally got the new gauges mounted in the new panel for the '38. The mounting brackets were too long. I had to cut ~1/4" off for the nuts to thread on.

David, David, David, what would have been strange is if it DIDN'T follow you home...

You're worse than me for picking up strays. When are you going to get to this, with a '55 2 door and a '66 Chevelle to restore ...

Should be able to get screens from the hardware store in the garden hose section. Cheaper and easier to replace than the solenoid valves. Just IMHO.

Not joking. But you know your car. I run a 196 in my T-bucket with 5.7 Vortec and an electric fan. Never gets over 205 even when it's close to a hundred ambient temperature.
