hcompton OK how much does gas cost. I think i would have ridden the bike before i carried it on my head. The guy with the fridge is also pretty nuts. You say we have it bad but you know there is an easier way to do it. That guy has just got no common since or didnt want to weight. I got a wagon a 4 wheel dolly and other stuff im sure can be had in any part of the world. Caring a fridge on your back is nuts.

Still nuts no matter how you look at it. But the guy with the bike takes to cake. Never seen a 200 pound bike carried up a ladder on someones head. If it was in the US i would call it fake. But you know its not. Got to give that guy credit.

Ahhhhh, my 15 year old drives me nuts! I told her first of the year I would give her a dollar day for every day that the room is "decent" and keep it all for the end of the year, $365 dollars. She was thrilled, she has gotten about 8 dollars. Geeez, I make it real clear, no spotless by any means, just a decent try to keep things off the floor. Nope, can't do it.

At one time we both had handicapped passes the temp kind. I am not surprised by how many people use them. In MD it got so bad they started asking people to video people abusing them and there tag number and contact the police so they could issue a ticket.

The ticket is even 255 bucks so no small deal but some just dont care. Worst part is you could just park in front of the store the ticket is cheaper.

One thing for sure we now know what makes martin mad... I can see smoke coming out of his ears in the lab coat. LOL

I had a new car a few years ago. The 2010 genesis coup got it the month they came out and always parked it away from other sure enough i would come out and someone would be right next to it. Always made me mad as hell. Of course there would be empty spaces all over the place and there car is most often crap. Just like the commercial where the guy parks miles away and some old jalopy parks right on top of him smoking and dents all over it. I wish i could find that on youtube. But not sure who it was for maybe a rent a car company.

Do you think any of the spaces are available? No they are occupied by people using their friends or other family members permit. People that really need the space and are real holders of plates or placards have to drive round and round.

Part 2: I drive a full size ford E150 van with a wheelchair lift mounted in the side door. When the doors open the lift folds out into a platform just long enough for me and my wheelchair. I need about 5 feet of space total beside my van to open the lift and roll away or roll on to the lift to get into my van. My biggest complaint is that out of all the spaces available someone whom does not have a wheelchair lift still park in the VAN accessible spaces and I must circle and circle till a van space opens.

I think as time goes on we are slowly losing everyday common courtesy. It seems out in the world people are only thinking of themselves. I hear the excuse all the time, Oh I was just going to run in and back out real quick!! you can wait can't you? People are no longer friendly like they were. It used to be when you passed a stranger you might have said good day or some pleasantry. Now days people turn away and if you say hello they think you are evil or something!

One last note and then I need to get busy. If you don't think people are unhappy let me share this little bit of un scientific data. About a month ago I drove to my local Wally world. My wife wanted to go shopping for something. Usually I take this opportunity to go in and race about the store and chase people. This time I waited in the van. I was setting where I could see people coming out of the store and going in. I started counting people that came and went. I looked at every face coming and going. I marked on my paper what their expression was coming in to and out of the store. 70 percent of the people had either a blank stare, or a frown on their faces. years ago that number would be reversed.

OK off my soapbox now.. By the way I have cousin earl's hair tonic for sale behind the tent, Tell them louie sent ya...
That is so funny that you literally made a log on their expressions. I do that sort of thing all the time, I don't want to form an opinion on.....opinion, I want facts. So I will do stuff like that and it has changed my opinions many times, almost always for the good. My town is extremely diverse in races and cultures and not at all like it was when I was a kid.

Many "old timers" hate it and talk about these fellow town members as "outsiders" and worse. One day with a discussion about the lake/park in town on a facebook page dedicated to the city some jerk went off on all the different languages and how WE are "foreigners" now. He said after I made a comment about saying "hi" to people opens doors. He told me that he would give me $10 for every person who said Hello back when I say hello to them. I asked him when he goes to pet a dog and the dog has his ears down and wagging his tail as apposed to ears back and growling, how often does he pet the growling one? I told him, YOU are growling at them, do you expect to get pet?

The next time I went to the park and walked around the lake I kept a log and said hello to every person my results were pretty understandable with a HUGE majority saying hello back and even some conversation and some surprised and grateful looks with a very sincere "Good morning" from them, yep, if you are wagging you tail you get a lot better response.
