|itsjusti||Alot of the time the rattle can chrome/gold wont take clear even from the same manufacturer. Theyre *supposedly* formulated to look the part without but most of the cheaper ones come out a dull, matte....satin finish at best. Ive always wanted to try some jewelry dip just to see the outcome but its low on the curiousity list.|

|wayneooo||hobbie shopps carry real chrome and gold foil cost about 8.00 or u could pick up a kit of goldleaf at AC moore's ,or any craft store would look better then gold paint|

Something you can do is to order the dry flake from tcpglobal and mix that into some intercoat and shoot the parts. I woudl use the ultra fine flake on this..

|killeratrod||have used both of these. the 18k looks the best. think it was $22.95 the other is $6 or $7 but it does look cheap.|

Would like to paint some emblems on car gold color. Replating them is way too costly. Anyone know of decent rattle can spray paint I can use? I can shoot clear over it to make it last longer.
