You are doing a fantastic job ,you are makind me jealous with that shiny Red paint,
Several of the guys on the SPI forum are using it for their base under the SPI universal clear and like it. I hear good things about the color match as well as coverage. Wanda has a new jobber here in Chattanooga who I have met but have not used the product yet. I believe it is a Swedish company. If Shine reads this, he will know.

How is the foot doing? Hopefully by spring you will be 100% and can get into some bigger projects.

Wanda is a good looking blond over on 3rd street.

Wanda is also a brand of automotive paint that is not marketed very heavily but receives pretty good reviews from those who have used it.

deadbodyman I've used Wanda and its very good. I'll admit I was skeptical at first but it has great coverage and color matches. I'll be using it again.

I can certainly understand that. I do not multi-task well myself.

I suspect they are out there. Some people are just negative by nature.

As an SPI fan also, what do you use for base coat if it isn't one of the few colors from SPI? I wish he had a few more stock colors.
You know I might be tempted to try Wanda. From what I read it is reasonably priced and has good coverage. With that said, I have not used it and am not in a position to recommend it.

I did succeed on my fourth try to make the bottom of the gas flap "box" bottom in one piece and weld it in. (Hmmmm, new tongue twister.) I ran out of time to finish grinding it though.

The fact that my local PPG dealer would not lift a finger to earn my business made switching even easier. Years ago PPG was a great product, sold by a local autobody supply store and it was great! Man, are those days gone.

The excellent pricing and free shipping are just the icing on the cake.

Thanks Pugsy. From one thug to another, I appreciate that!

Have you visited the SPI forum Pugsy? Lots of good information on there site and very well organized.
