I will try anything and don't want to put down anyone's idea...and here comes the but....at every turn the end results of a paint job is directly related to what's underneath...the body work. They are so closely related, one does not work without the other. I hope I'm wrong but it may become more confusing for the person posting if he or she has a question related to achieving the paint job the're looking for. For example, if someone started a thread like "What do I need to do to get a great looking paint job?"...How would you respond to that thread, should it be under the heading of Body/Exterior, or should it be under the new sub heading "paint".
If we go this route, perhaps we need a sub heading for metal work...because metal work is very different than filler work, yet they need to work hand in hand...should we start a sub heading for primer? Priming is not really painting and different steps need to be taken before you start priming versus painting.
Perhaps I'm set in my ways but when areas of the trade/hobby are so closely related that often they need to discussed in the same sentence, is there really a need to break them apart?
But you must see the BIG picture, from this site. With CCS being a supporting vendor here, the change was needed to keep CCS happy!!!! I Will not type the company name out
no just look to the root cause of this. one whiner getting his way then he bails much like on other sites he has been to .
This is an older thread, you may not receive a response, and could be reviving an old thread. Please consider creating a new thread.
