f/bird I'm installing cam kit and q/jet with e/b performer intake,timing set,and the cam kit instructions said to replace valve springs so I'll need to do that also .I had not thought about any other parts except the harmonic balancer and water pump .

Cam break in

Should be a nice cam for you. Are you using the stock bottleneck rocker arm studs? If so, be sure the preload is correct!

Would like any tips on cam break in for a edelbrock 2157 in a 350 pont. eng. other than the instruction sheet . Any special oil for break-in or for the first run ?
