killeratrod you are the first i heard of bolting a toy trans to the 351. but header problem yes. this is where you need to modify them or make your own. good luck. you will find nothing out of the box for this application.

Toyota gear box mod

Hey guys I have a 1950 ford F1 which I am currently in the process of mounting the toyota gear box. First the truck is equipped with a 351W with headers. The problem I am having is that my engine sits very low in the engine compartment and once the gear box is in I have no room to install the header. Has anyone faced this problem? I have room to raise the motor and trans if need be. Was just curious if anyone had run into this situation. Thanks.
